Joomla features a Weblinks core function that allows you to create lists of links to external URLs that you can feature in a number of ways on your site. For instance, once you create a category for Weblinks and list the links within that category, you can create a Weblinks Module or Menu Item that will list either all Weblink Categories or all links within one Weblink Category.

By default, positions are declared by the templateDetails.php, then put into the correct <div> location for the web page by index.php both in the root of the Protostar template and the <divs> are styled with the template.css stylesheet in the css folder of Protostar.

This site is currently running Joomla 3.2.2 using the Protostar Template using the 'static' setting in the Template Manager. The Protostar template comes included in Joomla 3.2 and it is designed to maximize the responsive web site interface. Protostar is a flexible template that works with Bootstrap 2. Joomla 3.+ does not use the latest Bootstrap 3 styling or framework.
